Geez, that was a lot of text there Red. I read it all but have no response due to fatigue from attempting to read it all.
This is a long week for me. Even with no class on Friday I have my APT (Assessment of Professional Teaching) test on Saturday afternoon. Luckily it is a 45 minute drive away for me to take a 3 hour test before a 45 minute drive back. Seems awesome. Wish they would give us a test site closer to campus... Tired of having to drive 45 minutes to take a stupid test. >< At least if I pass it, it is the last test I have to take before I can be certified to teach.

Hehe, well except the "running into walls" part, most of the other thing happen by "accident" and because I'm careless sometimes...(when I told my mom about the wave she looked at me and said "Are you dumb or what ? No one body surfs at that location because the way the waves break..." and then I remembered that since I was a kid no one body surfed at that place...) and with knives...well let's say that I think somethings are more resistant so I give a little too much force >.<
But when handling objects or cooking I'm generally not clumsy.
45 minutes drive for a test ? Is it some kind of state test (every future teacher in your state has to take the same test) ?

Ya that is what I hear, that it is really easy but just long. But ya, the closest one for me is Parkside Jr. High, really close to ISU. Last time I was there for my content test I got to listen to some ISU girls complain about why Bradley students go there instead of somewhere else. I wanted to tell them if we could go elsewhere, we would but this is the closest site for us. ><
Yes, it is a state test, there are like 15 different sites or something but most of them are in the Chicago area.
My gf is clumsy sometimes too, which is not good for her but she keeps herself unhurt for the most part.

Ya, those discussions will never die. But usually they are reserved for sports and etc, not complaining about why there are Bradley people at the same test site as you for a state test. Of course I also overheard them saying how many times they had to retake the Basic Skills test... the highest I heard was 4 times... 4. For the Basic Skills test... Oh well. I'm going with a friend who is sitting right in front of me so we can talk and not have to worry about the other people.

Don't worry Cosy, I rarely handle knives and when I need to cut something with a really sharp knife (like the ceramic ones) I'm really careful. But with "normal" knives, since I know it can't really hurt me except for maybe a few drops of blood, I don't pay too much attention.

I'm actually pretty good with knives. Having to use razors and the such at work plus using knives at home for stuff around the house has made me fairly adept with knives. That and saws and axes. Pretty good with a lot of different yard tools actually.

4 times for the basic skills test---think a 5th grader could pass that one without even knowing what the test was for!! (if you are in college you should be able to pass a multiple guess test by just guessing!!)
good to hear red.....would be horrible to hear about your experiences in a ER of a foreign country ---
knives, use them since I love to cook, have ceramic ones (like them the best)....but yes, I have cut myself even when curling my fingers under (someone forgot to tell my thumb--and well I didnt feel it and only about 10 minutes or so later did it even bleed---)
have a nice scar from that one and my thumb still has to be reminded to get out of the way on occasion......
made pizza for dinner, yum!

each time i am making dinner, i cut myself by accident, then again, i don't care if i do get hurt a little, pain is my friend hehe.
No but really, 1 of my fingers, i had stitched with 15 stitches, on a freaking finger :P that was a can you open though, those very sharp thing, it cut 80% through my finger, stopped near my fingernail, it bled like forever :P
clumsiness is many things, on a daily basis, if i don't get "inhured" 5-6 times, it's a weird day for me, but i like it :P

my sister used to call me an accident waiting to happen, and routinely I have bruises I cant associate with any event.....I think they happen in my sleep (maybe the aliens abduct me then )
pain is not my friend, but its here an awful lot (kinda like a relative you cant get to leave).....though sometimes if I am not having somekind of pain I wonder if I am actually awake

I've sliced myself open plenty of times. I can't cut myself on purpose but if I do it on accident it is like meh, as long as I'm not bleeding everywhere. One year at work I busted open my finger and was just like "well damn, now I need a band-aid so I don't bleed over all the clean stuff" Could have given a shit about the pain.
Ya 4 times, pretty sad. I just want to pass my APT this Saturday and be done with those stupid state tests.

The biggest cut I did on my hands was when I was cutting tomatoes and I accidentally cut the whole surface of my palm. I was a kid so I don't really remember the pain, but I do remember the bleeding.
I don't like bleeding because it leaves stains that can be hard to remove. (Of course there is bleeding from a small cut and bleeding because you have had your arm cut in half...)
No school today (national holiday) and don't want to go to school tomorrow...but meh might as well instead of doing close to nothing at home.

Working on a paper... I have a feeling I'm going to be trying to do more of that this weekend even though I got a rough draft done last weekend... Oh well. That is in all my free time between my APT test, work and seeing parents and stuff. Oh boy.
It is Veterans Day here, though some schools get the day off but not mine.

yes and government offices are closed (which means no mail...not that they seem to get much mail to us here after wednesday---got 15 catalogs in the mail yesterday, not quite sure HOW they managed to fit them in my tiny mail box--think pop tart box (8pack) but taller--......so the rest of the week all we get are credit card apps and geico spam mail etc.....bills and cards and such only if they are really hard up to delivery something )
didnt feel like getting up this morning, still not recovered from my last whatever and think a new whatever is gonna hit me soon (hubby has been feeling the same too). Guess its time to take some extra juice and grab another nap.

I rarely check my mail here at school since all the important stuff is sent to my house. So meh, I probably should check it soon just in case though lol
I never feel like getting up on Thursdays. 3 hours of class/lab followed by a hour break for lunch followed by another 3 hours of class. Not so much fun.

I have to check my mail everyday....bills to pay et al --though some have finally lengthened the time from when you get them to when they are due--used to get ones that were due almost the day I got them!!
(and no I DONT believe in online bill pay--and even my condo assess. doesnt have it so I would have to send them a check anyways), though the sheer amount of catalogs I get at this time of year should keep the usps in business for a very long time (that and calendars .....)
